Our Ministries Support Page

HOPE Baptist Church has several Ministries which we feel are of vital importance to the health and well being of our church family and our neighboring families who are in need of spiritual and physical needs.  If you are interested in volunteering or participating in any of these ministries, contact Pastor Trey, or Pastor Michael, and they will put you in touch with the leader of the ministry you are interested in.

  • Keepers At Home - We have an exciting new club for Mothers and  daughters (Kindergarten through High School) sponsored by our church. Angela Cribb is the primary coordinator for the Keepers at Home Club, and you can contact her for details.  The Club meets every other Tuesday at the Church at 6:30 PM.

  •  The Keepers At Home Club is part of the Keepers of the Faith Organization:

  • Music Ministry - This ministry is responsible for all of the musical performances during our worship services and at special church functions. The Praise Worship Team, and the Choir are two of the groups within this ministry, but there are new and exciting things happening and details will be announced soon.

  • Sunday Bulletin Ministry - This ministry is responsible for providing our weekly Sunday Bulletins and announcements.  If you have an announcement which you would like to have printed in the Sunday Bulletin, you can notify Pastor Trey or Pastor Michael and they will put you in touch with our church bulletin ministry leader.

  • Sunday Usher Ministry - This ministry is for the men of our church, The ushers will greet our members and guests as they arrive at the church for Sunday Worship, help them find good seats for them and their families, direct those families who need child-care or nursery-care to Children's-Church and nursery rooms.

  • Sunday Nursery Ministry - This ministry is for couples or women of our church to provide day-care and nursery services to our little ones during our Bible studies and Worship services.  Volunteers will provide one hour a month of their time working with our young children during our Sunday services.

  • We Care Ministry - This ministry provides meals to the families of our church when they are in a time of need.  The ministry will also provides flowers or gifts to church members who are in the hospital.  Volunteers for this ministry will be asked to provide an on-demand dish or meal to be given to a family who has a member who is in the hospital, or some other circumstance where the family would be under difficult conditions to provide their own meal.

HOPE Baptist Church also sponsors some local community outreach services in addition to the ones listed below.  To find out about these ministries, and how they might be able to help you in your time of physical or spiritual needs, contact Pastor Trey Pruitt, or Pastor Michael Letts.

We sponsor our very own AWANA Youth Ministry every Wednesday Evening during the School year to teach the Word of God to our youth through a variety of activities, games, and lessons.

Every Sunday Evening we provide another ministry to the members of The Haven, in Columbia, SC, by bringing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to them.  The Haven is an assisted living facility for seniors in the early, middle, and late stages of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

HOPE Baptist Church is proud to support several ministries around the world.  These ministries helps spreads the Word of God to people who might not know or have even heard of Jesus Christ were it not for these courageous people:

  • DeCosters in Spanish USA

  • Eberlines in Mexico

  • Peni Howder in Bangladesh

  • Larry Jaffrey in Israel
